Ohio University’s Strategic Social Media Crowdsourced Learning Lab was a great success for Spring 2015.  Over the 15-week semester, students contributed more than 130 pieces of original content to the blog including Case Studies, Interviews, Quickfire Pitches, and Social Media Campaign Proposals.  In addition, students produced a 12-week Twitter promotional campaign to build their blog audience.  At the end of our experiential learning campaign, students gained more than 2,300 page views from 1,250 blog visitors across 26 countries.

It has been my honor to teach this talented group of Ohio University students.  Stay tuned in Fall 2015 when a new group of students take over the blog.


Update (5/15/15): On May 14, a case study from our blog was picked up in an AdWeek article.  As a result, our blog reach has expanded tremendously.  In 24 hours, our blog was viewed by more than 1,500 visitors from 61 countries.
